We all have wounds. Let Jesus meet you in your pain.
When we experience physical pain we visit a doctor, right? If it’s just a sniffle, or a minor ache or pain we may try to power through it, but what about a broken bone? Some things are just too difficult to handle alone. What about emotional pain? We can stuff it down, try to “turn that frown upside down”, pretend that everything is fine…but is it? We were not meant to go it alone. God put brothers and sisters in our lives to help share our burdens and to experience Joy, even in the midst of painful circumstances. We have the choice to act and feel differently when we have a proper and Godly perspective on the trials we may be facing.
Healing prayer ministry leads you through a session of guided questions where you choose (or choose not) to let Jesus guide you to truth about what you are feeling and, if you are willing, to seek the true source of what you believe about that circumstance. This ministry is led by one of our deacons, Jeff Parker. Sessions generally last for about one hour and are available in the evenings and weekends.
